Sewing Studio II

5 or 6-Week Sewing Class (Prerequisite: Sewing Studio I) At The Homeschool Hangar, students don't just learn...they create. We are beyond excited to partner with MarniStar Creative Studio in bringing design and textile studios to your students! In Sewing Studio II students will continue developing sewing skills through increasingly challenging projects that strengthen construction techniques, pattern creation, fabric coordination, and curved sewing. Each project builds upon previously learned skills while introducing new concepts that encourage creativity, independence, and confidence. Students will create decorative and functional projects while learning to read directions, plan construction steps, and improve precision in sewing and finishing. Students will complete a decorative pillow with applique, a coordinating table runner, and a stuffed fabric bear while demonstrating increased sewing independence and craftsmanship. Students are introduced to careers in fashion design, apparel production, costume design, pattern making, product development, retail merchandising, textile technology, and creative entrepreneurship.

Tuition reflects full-session enrollment and covers materials, instructor planning, and scheduling. The Homeschool Hangar does not offer proration or refunds for late starts, absences, or withdrawals. The Homeschool Hangar is a Step Up Direct Pay Provider. Families can reserve their scholarship funds for all classes through their EMA account.
