American Heart Association Heartsaver: First Aid CPR AED - Naples Session

The Homeschool Hangar, in partnership with Armor of Light, an American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor, is proud to offer the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course. This nationally recognized certification class provides participants with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to confidently respond when every second counts. Designed for individuals with little or no medical background, this instructor-led course teaches practical lifesaving skills through engaging instruction and hands-on practice. Whether at home, in the workplace, on the athletic field, or in your community, you'll gain the confidence to respond effectively until emergency medical professionals arrive. During this course, participants will learn how to

• Recognize and respond to common first aid emergencies
• Care for injuries, burns, and environmental emergencies
• Control severe bleeding
• Identify the warning signs of heart attack and stroke
• Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
• Safely and effectively use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Help a choking adult, child, or infant

This course follows the latest American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and emphasizes early recognition, prompt action, and effective emergency response. Perfect for homeschool students interested in babysitting, coaching youth sports, teaching fitness classes, caring for younger children, serving in their communities, or exploring future careers in healthcare, emergency services, education, or public safety. Upon successful completion of the course and all required skills assessments, participants will receive an official American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED eCard, valid for two years.
